Participants: The top 24 boys and girls in each individual event plus the top 16 relay teams will be invited to compete based on the 2019 junior high results posted to the athletic.net website. In order for athletes to compete, a school official must post their athletes results to the athletic.net website prior to May 2nd at 11PM CST. The athletic.net web site is a free, time-saving track team organizational tool beneficial to all coaches.
Track Events: 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 100H, 200H, 4 X 100, 4 X 400, 4 X 800 relay. Hurdles: Girls 30", Boys 33" for both hurdle events. The only hurdles races considered for qualification purposes are 100 H and 195 H and 200 H. Please look for your athletes adjusted hurdle times in the 195 H listed under the Neb hurdle conversion meet May 3 rd 2019 on athletic.net. The Meet Director is the only one that will convert times for the 195 Hurdles.
Field Events: Shot Put 4kg (girls and boys), Discus 1kg (girls and boys), Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault.
Meet Limitations: Athletes may not compete in more than 4 events. Coaches, note that a junior high athlete may only participate in eight track meets during the junior high outdoor season. If your athlete is a potential meet qualifier, please monitor that he/she does not surpass this total.
Entering the Meet: Please visit the athletic.net web site often to see your athletes ranking. Coaches, please visit with your potential qualifiers about their ability to attend prior to the start of meet registration. On Thursday, May 2nd at 11PM CST all postings to athletic.net will be downloaded and posted to the Nebraska Championship Meet website for ranking potential qualifers to the meet. Individuals ranked in the top 24 or any relay team ranked in the top 16 are invited to enter the meet starting at 8 AM CST May 3rd on the athletic.net web site. PLEASE HAVE A COACH OR SCHOOL OFFICIAL ENTER YOUR ATHLETES, THERE IS NO OTHER WAY FOR MEET MANAGMENT TO KNOW WHO IS COMING FROM YOUR SCHOOL AND IN WHAT EVENTS. Automatic qualifer registration for the meet will close at 6PM CST Monday May 6th, 2018. Events not full at 6PM CST on May 6th will be open to the 25th ranked individual and to the 17th ranked relay and descending order until the events are filled. If your athletes are ranked lower than 24th individually or your relay team is ranked lower than 16th and wish to be considered to compete, please send an email between Friday 8 AM May 3rd and 6 PM May 6th to the meet director Jim Clark on the contact page of this web site. I will fill the events not full starting Monday May 6th at 6 PM and post meet qualifiers on Tuesday May 7th. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER YOUR POTENTIAL ADDITIONAL QUALIFIERS, THE MEET DIRECTOR WILL ENTER THEM. PLEASE ENTER YOUR ATHLETES RESULTS FROM THE RANKINGS ON THE MEET HOME PAGE, DO NOT USE MARKS FROM MEETS AFTER May 2nd.

Awards: Medals will be presented to the top eight finishers. Outstanding Male and Female athlete awards will be presented. Team scores will be kept and plaques for the runner up and team champion will be awarded.
